（孔子学院奖学金项目）招生简章
为支持孔子学院建设，促进汉语国际推广和中国文化传播，培养合格的汉语教师和各类汉语人才，孔子学院总部/国家汉办（以下简称汉办）设立孔子学院奖学金，资助外国学生、学者和汉语教师到中国有关大学攻读汉语国际教育专业硕士学位。
广东外语外贸大学（以下简称为广外）作为汉语国际教育专业硕士培养单位之一，2015年计划招收25名外国学生攻读汉语国际教育硕士专业学位（奖学金项目）。
一、申请条件
汉语国际教育专业硕士招生对象须为非中国籍人士，身体健康，年龄一般在16至35周岁之间（在职汉语教师可放宽至45周岁）。奖学金向孔子学院（课堂）学员，海外本土汉语教师、“汉语桥”中文比赛优胜者、大学中文专业优秀毕业生和HSK、BCT考试成绩优秀者提供。入学时间为2015年秋季，资助期限为2学年。申请者应具有学士学位或相当学历，HSK成绩不低于五级180分、HSKK（中级）成绩不低于50分，或者BCT（B）成绩不低于180分、BCT（口语）成绩不低于260分，同时书面承诺毕业后至少从事5年汉语教学工作。有具体任教意向者（须提供拟任教单位出具的证明）将被优先录取。入学后第一学年结束前通过年度评审且HSK成绩不低于六级180分、HSKK（中级）成绩不低于70分者，可继续享受奖学金。汉办将为优秀毕业生回国任教提供支持。
二、奖学金资助内容及标准
孔子学院奖学金全额资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费（人民币3000元/月）、综合医疗保险费。
三、招生流程
1.即日起，申请者可登陆孔子学院奖学金网http://cis.chinese.cn注册个人账号，在线填写、提交《孔子学院奖学金申请表》，同时将申请表打印连同其它材料（纸质版）（见第四条）于
2015年5月10日
前一并递交至广外。
2.广外负责审核申请者入学资格，并于
5月31日
前向汉办提交符合条件的奖学金留学生预录取名单。
3.汉办组织专家进行评审，对符合条件者择优录取。获奖者名单将于
6月15日
前在奖学金网站公布，同时通知接收院校和推荐机构，并由推荐机构通知申请者本人。
4.广外于
7月1日
前将《录取通知书》、《报到须知》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）和孔子学院奖学金证书电子版等入学材料寄达申请表中的接收地址，并及时通知推荐机构和申请者本人。
四、申请材料
申请者须登录奖学金网站http://cis.chinese.cn，填写《孔子学院奖学金申请表》，并附上以下证明材料的电子文档：
1. 护照照片页扫描件。
2．HSK、HSKK或BCT、BCT（口语）成绩报告。
3．最高学历证明（毕业预期证明或在校学习证明，如非中文或英文证明，需提供相应的公证文件）。
4．推荐信及承诺书。申请者须同时提交两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信（用中文或英文书写），以及毕业后至少从事5年汉语教学工作的承诺书。未建孔子学院国家的有关高校中文专业学生，须另提供校长签发的推荐信。
5．未满18周岁的申请者，须提交在华法定监护人署名的委托证明文件。
6．“汉语桥”世界大、中学生中文比赛获奖者须提供由汉办颁发的奖学金证书。各国分赛区优胜者须提供获奖证明和赛区主办单位出具的推荐函。
7．在职汉语教师须提交就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信。
五、注意事项
1．申请单中护照用名与护照扫描件信息不一致的，或相关证明材料不全的，视为无效。
2．获奖者如因故不能报到，需于报到日前15天以书面形式通知接收院校并注明原因。无故逾期未报到者，奖学金资格不予保留，且不能再次申请奖学金。
3．入学体检不合格者，奖学金资格将被取消。

Recruitment Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship (2015) of Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other
Languages (MTCSOL) of
Guangdong
University
of Foreign Studies
For the purpose of supporting the development of Confucius Institutes, facilitating international promotion of Chinese language and dissemination of Chinese culture, as well as cultivating qualified Chinese-language teachers and excellent Chinese-language learners, Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban (hereinafter referred to as Hanban) launches a “Confucius Institute Scholarship” program to sponsor foreign students, scholars and Chinese language teachers to proceed to a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) in relevant universities of China.
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (hereinafter referred to as GDUFS) as one of the units of MTCSOL, is now recruiting 25 Confucius Institute Scholarship students in 2015.
I. Application Requirement
1.Scholarship for Students of MTCSOL（Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages）
Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens in good health, aged between 16 and 35(Chinese language teachers in post shall be aged below 45).
The scholarship is oriented at excellent students from Confucius Institutes (Classrooms), overseas local Chinese language teachers, winners of the "Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and for Foreign High School Students, excellent foreign college graduates majored in Chinese and outstanding performers on HSK exams, to undertake a Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. The scholarship winner shall begin the study in autumn 2015 and the duration of scholarship is two academic years. The applicant should have a bachelor degree or its equivalent, get a score of at least 180 on the HSK (level 5) and a score of at least 50 on the HSKK (intermediate level) or a score of at least 180 on the BCT (B) and at least 260 on BCT(spoken Chinese). The applicant make a written commitment stating that he/she will be engaged in Chinese language teaching for at least 5 years after graduation. The applicant with a specific teaching post arranged will be given prior admission (certification by the institution he/she will teach for is required). Scholar winner who passes the annual assessment with the score of at least 180 on the HSK (level 6) and the score of at least 70 on the HSKK (intermediate level) by the first-academic-year after admission, is qualified for continuing the scholarship. Hanban will provide support for outstanding graduates to teach in their home countries.
II. Scholarship Coverage and Criteria
Scholarship winners are exempt from tuition, accommodation fees on campus, and are provided with monthly living allowance (CNY 3000 per month), and comprehensive insurance for foreign students studying in
China
.
III. Recruitment Procedures
1. From now on, applicants should log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website at http://cis.chinese.cn, set up an individual account, complete and submit the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form online, print out the Form and submit it to GDUFS along with other application materials (see Article 4)before May 10th, 2015.
2. GDUFS is responsible for reviewing the qualification of applicants and submitting the proposed enrollment name list of qualified candidates to Hanban by May 31th 2015.
3. Hanban will organize an expert panel to make the final selection, and publish the name list of successful applicants on the Scholarship website by June 15th, 2015.Hanban will also inform the host institutes and the recommending institutions, and the recommending institutions will inform the applicants.
4. GDUFS will post “Admission Letter”, “Enrollment Instructions”, “Visa Application Form for Foreigners to Study in
China
" (JW202 Form) and other related materials to successful applicants through their recommending institutions by July 1st,2015.
IV. Application Documents
Applicants should log onto the Scholarship website, fill out the “Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form”, and attach the electronic files of the following materials:
1. Photocopy of passport photo page.
2.Photocopies of HSK、HSKK or BCT(B)、BCT(spoken Chinese)score reports.
3.Notarized highest education diploma attained（scheduled graduation proof or official proof of student status）.
4.Reference letter and letter of commitment. The BTCSOL Scholarship applicants should submit pre-admission notice issued by the host institutes designated by Hanban. The MTCSOL Scholarship applicants are required to submit two reference letters from professors or associate professors (in Chinese or English) and a written commitment stating that the applicant will be engaged in Chinese language teaching for at least 5 years after graduation (written in Chinese and signed). College students majored in Chinese in countries with no Confucius Institutes established shall submit a reference letter signed and issued by the university President.
5.Applicants under the age of 18 shall submit relevant legal documents of entrusted legal guardians in
China
.
6.Winners of the finals of the “
Chinese
Bridge
” Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and for Foreign High School Students in
China
shall submit the certificate of scholarship. Winners of preliminary rounds of the “
Chinese
Bridge
” Chinese Proficiency Competitions in their countries shall submit award proof and a reference letter from the Chinese Embassy (or Consulate) in the competition area.
7.Chinese language teachers shall submit the proof of the length of time in teaching and weekly teaching hours provided by institutes they work for.
V. Precautions
1.If the name on application is inconsistent with the name on the attached passport scanning file, or relevant certification material is incomplete, the application will be invalid.
2.If the scholarship winner cannot register for certain reason, he/she shall inform the host institute 15 days prior the registration day with a written explanation. Those who cannot complete registration without any reason, the scholarship qualification will not be remained and no longer have the qualification of applying the scholarship.
3.Scholarships will be canceled for those who cannot pass the health examination.
